Section 10C: Construction in and around protected monument

The Jammu and Kashmir Ancient Monuments Preservation Act, 1977Union territory Act of Ladakh · Act 5 of 1977

No new construction shall be allowed in or around the prohibited area, as specified or declared under this Act:

Provided that Government may, on the recommendation of the Director Archaeology and in the public interest, create public amenities in the area.]
