Section 15: Right of access to certain protected monuments

The Jammu and Kashmir Ancient Monuments Preservation Act, 1977Union territory Act of Ladakh · Act 5 of 1977

(1) Subject to such rules as may after previous publication be made by [the Government], the public shall have a right of access to any monument maintained by the Government under this Act.

(2) In making any rule under sub-section (1) [the Government] may provide that a breach of it shall be punishable with fine which may extend to [one thousand rupees].
