Section 24: Powers to search on reasonable suspicion

The Jammu and Kashmir Kahcharai Act, 2011Union territory Act of Ladakh · Act 18 of 2011

Any Kahcharai Officer may search any place or premises; provided that such officer has reason to believe that taxable or prohibited animals are concealed therein:

Provided further that no dewelling house is searched by an officer lower in rank than a Forest Ranger.
