Section 37: Vacations

The Jammu and Kashmir State Civil Courts Act, 1977Union territory Act of Ladakh · Act 46 of 1977

(1) Subject to such orders as may be made by 3[the Government] the days declared in the Jammu and Kashmir Government Gazette by 3[the Government] as public holidays shall be observed as close holidays in Civil Courts.

198 CIVIL COURTS ACT, 1977 (1920 A. D.)

(2) A Judicial act done by a Civil Court on a day specified as close holiday shall not be invalid by reason only of its having been done on that day.
