Licensing of Tenements and Sites and Services in Chandigarh Scheme, 1979Union territory Regulations of Chandigarh · 1994

(i) On the allotment of a tenement, the allottee of a site may apply to the competent authority to determine the compensation payable to him for superstructure.

(ii) The competent authority shall determine the compensation after hearing the allottee concerned and after making much inquires as he may deem fit. In doing so, the competent authority shall have regard to the cost of construction and depreciation on account of usual wear and tear.
