Section 2: Definitions

The Madhya Pradesh Boilers Rules, 1969State Rules of Madhya Pradesh · 1923

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,—

(a) “Act” means the Indian Boilers Act 1923 (No. V of 1923);

(b) “Chief Inspector”; “Deputy Chief Inspector”, “Inspectors”, “Inspecting Authority”, “Inspecting Officer”, “Owners “, “competent authority”, and “prescribed” shal l have the respecting meanings as assigned to them in the Act and the regulations;

(c) “Government” means the Government of-Madhya Pradesh;

(d) “Regulation” means regulation framed by the Central Boilers Board under Section 28 of the Act;

(e) “Section” means a Section of the Act.
