An assessor shall be enti t led to such daily fee not exceeding a maximum of Rs. 50 (Rupees fif ty) per day as may be fixed by the appellate authority and he shall also be enti t led to travell ing allowance at the rates prescribed under the orders for the t ime being in force relating to the attendance of witnesses in Civil Courts.
