Section 7: Communication of orders/decisions

The Housing Commissioner, being the Chief Executive Officer and administrative head of the Board, shall have the power to communicate decisions and to issue orders on all matters on behalf of the Chairman and the Board, as the case may be, either himself or through his senior subordinates as he may consider appropriate.

8. Powers of Chairman, Housing Commissioner and other officers of the Board under specific sections of the Act-- The powers of the Chairman, Housing Commissioner and other officers of the Board.

(i) to incur expenditure under section 24

(ii) to approve estimates under Sec. 25 and

(iii) to make and perform contracts under Sec. of the Act.

and to take decisions and incur other such expenditure as are necessary for the proper functioning and administration of the Board shall be as described in Annexure-I.
