(1) The joint committee may meet as often as convenient but not less than once a month.
In cases of urgency, a special meeting of the committee may be called by giving not less than six hours' notice at the request of either side. The meetings shall be held during working hours unless otherwise agreed upon between the two sides.
(2) No business other than that appearing on the agenda, shall be transacted at any meeting unless both sides agree to its introduction.
1 The presence of three-fifths of the members from each side of the cotnmittee shall be necessary to form a quorum.
The decision of the Committee shall be arrived at by agreement between the two parties, but if no such agreement is possible the decision shall be taken by vote of the majority of the members present. The chairman shall have one vote and in case of a tie„ a casting vote.
Explanation.— For the purpose of this rule, the nominees of the employer shall be deemed to be as one party of the Committee and the nominees of the employees as the other side of the Committee.
