Section 58: Disposal of records of society w hose registration is cancelled

A1l the books and records of a society whose registration has been cancelled and the proceedings of l iquidation may be destroyed by the Registrar after the expiry of two years from the date of the order cancell ing the regis tration of the society.

58-A. Procedure to be adopted by Official Assignee. -The off icial assignee, appointed by the Registrar under sub -section (2) of Section 18-A, shall adopt the procedure to realise the assets and l iquidate the l iabil i ties as provided under Rules 57 and 58.
