Section 5: Term of office of Chairman and members

The Madhya Pradesh Madhyastham Adhikaran Adhiniyam, 1983State Act of Madhya Pradesh · Act 29 of 1983

(1) The Chairman and members of the Tribunal shall be whole time salaried officers.

7 1[(2) The Chairman shall hold office as such for a term of five years from the date on which he enters upon his office or until he attains the age of 67 years whichever is earlier :

Provided that the Chairman shall continue to hold office till his successor enters upon his office or for six months whichever is earlier.

(2-A) The member shall hold office as such for a term of 2[five years] from the date on which he enters upon his office or until he attains the age of sixty-five years whichever is earlier.]
