Section 9: Calling out for duty

(1) The Nagar -Sainik (Home Guards) shall be called out by the District Magistrate under Section 10 of the Act by an order in Form C appended hereto. In pursuance of Section 11 of the Act the District Magistrate may make further orders from time to t ime.

(2) They shall receive such honoraium for the period they are kept on duty after being called out as may be fixed by standing orders.

(3) When• the Nagar -Sainiks (Home Guards) are called out for duty in any area and the District Magistrate is of opinion that they are required to as a unified force with the police, the District Magistrate shall give the command of the unified force to the District Superintendent of Police.
