Bhopal, the 15th July 2015 No. 139-F-4-34-2014-XVIII-1.-In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 433 read with sub-section (1) of S,ection 58 of the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956), the State Government hereby, makes the following further amendments in the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation (Appointment and Service Conditions for Officers and Servants) Rules, 2000, namely:- AMENDMENT In the said ru e,- 1 In rule 2,-

(i) after clause (c) the following clause shall be inserted, namely> "(c-a) "dying cadre" rncaris such cadre which is working on sanctioned post: in the establishment of Municipal Co rp or-atfon but is not indicated in Scr.edule-l.u;

(ii) after clause (d), the following clause shall be inserted, riarnelyr- U(d-a) "Other Agency" means an agency specified by the State Government for selection to the posts of direct recr'uitrnerrtin Corporation service.";

2. In rule 3, after sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be iriserted, namely:- 'J "(3) In the case of existing employees, if !ili~re is change of pay scale of the post due to changes in Schechrle-L if the new pay scale is lower than he shall continue to draw his pay in his P<:lYscale, til~ he is appointed to th: post il the higher pay scale. However where the new pay scale is higher the pay shall be fixed in the new pay scale."

3. after rule 8-A, the following rule shall be Inser ted, namely:- //8-B. Select ion for direct recruitment through VY APAM- Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, the corporation may getthe process of recruitment done through the Madhya Pradesh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandai (VYPA~I!) [01" the posts to be filled in by direct recruitment. On passing a resolution of this intent by. the Mayor in Council, the Commissioner shall send a letter to VYAPAM for the posts identified for recruitment and shall issue appointment orders of the candidates in the order of merit from the selection list received from VY APAM. However, prior confirmation of the State Government shall be obtained for appointment to the posts falling under clause (iii) of sub section (1) of Section 58 of the Act: 562 (10) <=r~ ~, ~ 15 ~ 2015

Provided that, the Corporation may in consultation with the State Government, appoint any other agency for selection. 8-C. Service of employee working on the posts of dying cadre shall continue until their retirement and process of promotion shall be in accordance with the rules prescribed for that post.". .
