Nothing in these rules shall be construed to limit or abridge the power of the Governor to deal Withthe case of any person, to whom these rules apply in such manne:r'_,as-inayappear to it to be just and equitable. PrOvided that the' case shall not be dealt With in any manner, less favourable to him than that provided in these rules.

Saving.-Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation and other condition requi{-ed to be provided for the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes in accordance with the orders issued by the State Government from time in this regard.
24. Repeal-AlI'rules corresponding to these and inforce immediately before the commencement of these rules are hereby repealed in respect of matters covered by these rules :
Provided that any order made or action taken under the rules so repealed shall be deemed to have been made or taken under' the corresponding provisions of these rules.

1. Short title. -These rules may be called the Madhya Pradesh Panchayat and Social Justice Class IVServices Recruitment Rules, 2006.
2. Application. -1bese rules shall apply to the posts as specified in Column (2) of the Schedule appended to these rules.
3. Classification and Scales of Pay etC.-The Classification of the service the number of posts included in the Service and the Scale of pay ----attached-ther..eio-and the method of recruitment in the.service_and age liI1.1i,t _ and other matters shall be in accordance with the provisions contained in ColUmn (3) to (10) of the said Schedule.
4. Reservation.-(l) There shall be reserved posts for the persons belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes at the stage of the direct recruitment in accordance with the provisions contained in the Madhya Pradesh Lok Seva (Anusuchit J atiyon, Anusuchit Jan Jatiyon Aur Anya Pichhade Vargon Ke Liye Arakshan) Adhiniyam, 1994 (No. 21 of 1994). '
(2) Reservation in promotion to the Government servants belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes will be made in accordance with the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Public Services (Promotion) Rules,
2002.
(3) Reservation for women candidates shall be made in accordance with the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh' Civil Services (Special Provisions for appointment of women) Rules, 1997.
