Section 26: Absorption of surplus employees

(l) NotWithstanding anything contained in these rules, the State Government may direct that the members of the staff in any Government institution or local body or Government undertaking, Corporation, Board or any agency controlled by the State Government shall be absorbed in suitable posts under the Zila Panchayat, subject to such terms and conditions as may' be specified by the State Government in that behalf:

ProVided that such members shall possess the minimum educational qualifications prescribed for the post in which they are absorbed.
