Bhopal, the 31st July 2009 No. F. 14-17-2007-XL11.(1)--In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 12 of the Madhya Pradesh Niji Yyavsayik Shikshan Sanstha (Pravesh Ka Viniyaman Avam Shulk Ka Nirdharan) Adhiniyam, 2007 (No. 21 of 2007), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendments in the Admission Rules, 2008, namely :— AMENDMENTS .
In the said Rules, in rule 7, after sub-rule (11), the following new sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:
"(12) In case the decision to conduct online off campus counselling for a particular course is taken by the State Government, then its procedure shall be as under:— the competent authority declared by the State Government for this purpbse, shall finalize the detailed programme and shall make it available on its website declaring process of admission and different cut off dates;
first stept in the counselling process would be verification of documents of candidates belonging to, different reserved categories declared successful in the common entrance examination and verification of documents shall be done before the cut-off date as declared by competent authority at designated centres, which shall normally be GovernmetWGovernment aided/autonomous engineering or polytechnic colleges;
(e) after successful verification (that is verification of all the documents to the satisfaction of *verifying officer), the candidates of general category and also candidates of unreserved categories should visit the website of the competent authority to register himself for online-off campus counselling within the.stipulated period as declared by the competent authority and during registration the candidate shall have to deposit the registration fee as decided and declared by the competent authority and the modus-operandi for depositing fee shall also be declared by the competent authority, and after successful registration a user ideniification and pass word shall be generated and it shall be the sole'responsibility of the candidate to maintain secrecy of his user identification 756 (2) titztstkvi twot, fetw 31 Itii4 2009 and password and the candidate himself shall be responsible for any of its unauthorised use, and if a candidate has lost or forgotten his user identification or password, he shall have to request the eompetent authority for the issue of second user identification or password, for which the candidate shall have to complete the formalities specified by (he competent authority and in such cases the competent authority shall try to declare a second user identification or password, however, the competent authority shall not be responsible for any consequences, ,due to delay in issue of second user identification or password, and to participate in the counselling, it is mandatory for every candidate to register himself on the•website of the competent authority and if a candidate fails to register within the stipulated period he shall loose the chance of participating in that phase of counselling;
after successful registration candidate shall enter, choices of colleges and branches in order of preference that is first, second etc. by using his user identification and password within the stipulated schedule as declared by the competent authority;
Tentative list of allotment shall be declared by the competent authority which shall be available on its -Website, for a selected period of time during which candidate shall have to lock their choices, confirm the allotted seat and deposit the part of tuition fee as decided and declared by the competent authority and the modus-operandi for depositing the fee shall also be specified by competent authority and at the time of confirmation, candidate caw also exercise Option' for upgradation to better branches or college, if he desires so and if as per upgradation another college or branch is allotted to candidate, then his previous admission shall automatically stands cancelled;
after successful confirmation of allotment and deposit of part of tuition fee, final list of allotments shall be declared by the competent authority, which shall be final and no request shall be entertained for restoring previous adthission and in off-campus counselling separate allotment letters shall not be issued to the candidates;
(g) after the declaration of final list of allotment, candidate shall have to report in the allotted institution before the cut-off date and if the candidate fails to report and confirm the admission at the institute, on or before the last date of reporting at the institute,, then he shall forfeit the claim on the allotted seat and his admission shall stand cancelled and -consequent vacancy shall be included in the subsequent round of counselling, if any, and it shall be the responsibility of respective institutions to inform the non-reporting of the candidate through the institute login within the specified schedule, failing which they shall themselves be responsible for consequences, if any;
if needed, subsequent phase of counselling shall be conducted, according to the same procedure as described above, and the candidate who has not been allotted any seat or the candidate who has been allotted seat but now not willing to retain that seat, can participate in subsequent round of counselling after getting his admission duly cancelled on or before the last date as determined by the competent authority for this purpose, and candidates can get their admissions cancelled by requesting the competent authority in writing.".
