The Maharashtra Agricultural Debtors Relief Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 28 of 1947
(1) Any debtor ordinarily residing in any local area for which a Board was established under section 4 of the repealed Act on or after the 1 February 1947, or his creditor may make an application before the 1 August 1947 to the Court for the adjustment of his debts.
(2) Every application made under sub-section (1) shall be in writing in the prescribed form and shall be signed, verified and presented in the prescribed manner.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3 an application made under this section shall contain the amounts and particulars of all debts specified in that section due by the debtor.
