[39B-1. Managing Director of State Marketing Board. (1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, on deputation, an officer to be the Managing Director of the State Marketing Board.

(2) The Managing Director appointed under sub-section (1) shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be specified under this Act or rules made thereunder.]
