Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, a member of the State Marketing Board referred to in clause (vi) or (viii) of section 39B shall not be disqualified for being chosen as, and for being, a member of the State Legislature or councillor of any local authority, merely by reason of the fact that he is a member of the State Marketing Board.
Section 39D: Member not disqualified from contesting election or as members of State Legislature or local authorities.
