Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Maharashtra Bhagdari and Narwadari Tenures Abolition Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 32 of 1949

(1) This Act may be called [the Maharashtra Bhagdari and Narwadari Tenures Abolition Act].

(2) It extends to the whole of the [Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may by notification in the Official Gazette specify.
