Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Maharashtra Bhil Naik Inams Abolition ActState Act of Maharashtra · Act 21 of 1955

(1) This Act may be called [the Maharashtra Bhil Naik Inams Abolition Act].

(2) It extends to the districts of [West Khandesh (Except the villages specified in Parts II and III of the First Schedule to the Bombay Reorganisation Act, 1960)] and Nasik in the [State of Maharashtra].

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
