Section 19: Importance of registration

Technical regulations for the registration of boilers and the scale of fees for registration are prescribed in Chapter IX of the Regulations. The details of measurement recorded at the time of registration constitute a permanent record for the boiler and determine the original pressure at which the boiler is allowed to work . It is accordingly essential that the work should be done with the greatest care and precision.
