[14A. Temporary duration of Chapters IV and V.- Without prejudice to the operation of the other provisions of this Act, this Chapter and Chapter V shall remain in force for the period commencing on the 22 August 1975 and [ending on, and inclusive of, the 21 August 1989] and for such further period thereafter, not exceeding two years as the State Government may, from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette, specify and shall then expire. Section 7 of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bom. I of 1904), shall apply upon the expiry of these Chapters as if they had been repealed by a Maharashtra Act.]
