From the commencement of this Act, in the All enactments relating to any of the matters enumerated in Lists II and III in the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution of India, in their application to the State of Maharashtra (hereinafter referred to as "State Laws"), and in all instruments and other documents, the word "famine" shall be deemed to have been deleted.
