Section 8: Submission of list of presents received by parties to marriage

The Maharashtra Dowry Prohibition Rules, 2003.State Rules of Maharashtra · 1961

The parties to any marriage or any of the parents or either of them shall furnish to the concerned Dowry Prohibition Officer within three months from the date of marriage, a copy of the list of presents prepared in accordance with the Dowry Prohibition (Maintenance of List of Presents to the Bride and Bridegroom) Rules, 1985 :

Provided that, where the bride or bridegroom received no presents they shall furnish a NIL Return to the Dowry Prohibition Officer.
