Section 47: Power to delegate.

The Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006State Act of Maharashtra · Act 3 of 2007

(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, delegate any power (except the power of making rules) exercisable by it under this Act or rules made thereunder to the Director in such case and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in such notification.

(2) The Director may, by an order in writing, delegate any power exercisable by him under this Act or rules made thereunder to any officer of the State Government subordinate to him or the Chief Officer of an Authority (by whatever designation called) or the Chief Fire Officer of any Authority in such case and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in such order.
