Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to the Local Authorities) Act, 2017State Act of Maharashtra · Act 41 of 2017

(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to the Local Authorities) Act, 2017.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
