The Maharashtra Homoeopathic Practitioners' Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 12 of 1960
(1) The [Council] may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, make regulations not inconsistent with this Act or the rules made thereunder, for the following matters, namely :-
(a) the number and designations, salaries, allowances and other conditions of service of its officers and servants other than the Registrar under sub-section (6) of section 15;
(b) such matters as may be necessary for the exercise of the powers and performance of duties and functions by the [Council] under this Act.
(2) The State Government on receiving the draft regulations may sanction or refuse to sanction the same or sanction them subject to such modifications as it may think fit or return them to the [Council] for further consideration.
(3) All regulations, when sanctioned, shall be published in the Official Gazette.
(4) The State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette cancel any regulation.
