Section 136: Use of property assigned or entrusted by Board.

(1) The Board may assign or entrust to the Panchayat any property, whether moveable or immoveable, for use by the Panchayat for the purposes of this Chapter on such terms and conditions as may be specified by the Board on behalf of the Authority. It shall be the duty of the Panchayat to use such property for the purpose for which it is assigned or entrusted.

(2) With the approval of the Board, a Panchayat, may utilise any open space in the slum improvement area for common purposes such as those specified in clause (f) of section 109.
