Section 62: Disputes regarding reconstitution of plots.

(1) Where under any proposal, plan or project under this Act, any plots comprised in the area included therein are reconstituted or any person is dispossessed, any person affected by such reconstitution or dispossession may apply to the Authority for damages. The Authority may, after making such inquiry as it think fit, decide whether the applicant is entitled to any damages, and if so to what extent. If the person is dissatisfied with the decision of the Authority in the matter, he may refer the matter to the Tribunal.

(2) The Tribunal shall, after making an enquiry, determine the amount of damages and direct the Authority to pay the same to the person entitled thereto.
