Section 4: Transfer of application

The Maharashtra Industry, Trade and Investment Facillitation Rules, 2025State Rules of Maharashtra · 2023

(1) If the Competent Authority fails to dispose off an application within specified time limit, then the Nodal Agency shall transfer such application to the Empowered Committee for taking necessary action under the relevant law. The Empowered Committee shall dispose off such application within the specified time limit as under :— Sr.

Nos.

(1) Time limit for disposal of application by Competent Authority.

(2) Time limit for disposal of application by Empowered Committee

1. 1 to 30 days Within 15 days from the date of receipt.

2. 31 to 60 days Within 30 days from the date of receipt.

3. exceeding 61 days Within 45 days from the date of receipt.

(2) The time limit may be extended by the Empowered Committee by specifying the reasons therefor in writing.
