Section 47: Power to require owner to have sewer connection.

The Maharashtra Jeevan Authority Act, 1976.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 48 of 1976

Where any premises are in the opinion of [the Authority], without sufficient means of effectual disposal of sewage and sewer of [the Authority] is situated at a distance of fifty metres from any part of the premises, [the Authority] may, by written notice, require the owner of the said premises to have sewer connection as provided by bye-laws.
