Section 15: Special provision regarding sentence of fine.

The Maharashtra Keeping and Movement of Cattle in Urban Areas (Control) Act, 1976State Act of Maharashtra · Act 45 of 1976

Notwithstanding anything contained in Section 29 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), it shall be lawful for any Metropolitan Magistrate and for any Magistrate of the First Class to pass a sentence of fine exceeding the pecuniary limit specified in that section, on any person convicted of an offence under this Act.
