Section 3: Establishment and incorporation of Board.

The Maharashtra Khadi and Village Industries Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 19 of 1960

[(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish a Board for the whole State to be called the Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board];

(2) [The Board] shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in its corporate name and shall be competent to acquire, hold and dispose of property both movable and immovable and to contract and do all things necessary for the purposes of this Act.
