The Maharashtra Khadi and Village Industries Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 19 of 1960

When [a member dies or resigns,] he shall cease cease to be a member of the Board from the date of his death or the date of the acceptance of the resignation, as the case may be, and any vacancy so occurring ]or otherwise] shall be filled by the State Government as early as practicable:

Provided that, during any such vacancy the continuing members may act as if no vacancy has occurred.
