Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained, if upon an application or on report made to it for the purpose, the State Government is satisfied that it is no longer economical or technically feasible to continue any scheme or it is necessary to change the user of the land for any non-agricultural purpose or any other purpose contemplated in the original scheme or it is necessary so to do in the public interest, the State Government may, by order, published in the prescribed manner, revoke the scheme. Upon such revocation, the provisions of this Act shall cease to apply to such scheme except as respects things done or omitted to be done before the revocation of the scheme.
