Section 10: Powers of inquiry.

The Maharashtra Land Requisition Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 33 of 1948

For the purposes of holding an inquiry under section 8 the authorised officer shall have the same powers as are vested in civil courts in respect of-

(a) proof of facts by affidavits,

(b) summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath,

(c) compelling the production of documents, and

(d) issuing commissions for the examination of witnesses.
