Section 31: Board of Examinations and Evaluation.

Maharashtra Marathi Bhasha Vidyapeeth Act, 2023State Act of Maharashtra · Act 11 of 2024

(1) The Board of Examinations and Evaluation shall be the authority to deal with all matters relating to examinations and evaluation. The Board of Examinations and Evaluation shall also oversee the conduct of examinations in the university departments.

(2) The Board of Examinations and Evaluation shall meet at least twice in an academic year or as and when required. The quorum for the meeting shall be six members.

(3) The Board of Examinations and Evaluation shall consist of the following members, namely :-

(a) Vice-Chancellor, Chairperson;

(b) Deans of all Schools;

(c) two heads of the university departments or centres, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;

(d) one Director, Board of Examinations and Evaluation from other university or Dean of Academics of other higher learning institutes of repute, nominated by the Board of Management;

(e) one evaluation expert nominated by the Vice-Chancellor;

(f) Director, Board of Examinations and Evaluation, Member-Secretary.
