Section 66: Internal Quality Assurance Committee.

(1) There shall be an Internal Quality Assurance Committee in the university to plan, guide and monitor quality assurance and quality enhancement in all the academic and administrative activities of the university.

(2) The Internal Quality Assurance Committee in the university shall be constituted and function, as may prescribed by the Statutes and in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission, accrediting agencies, the State Government and any regulating authority, from time to time.

(3) The Annual Quality Assurance Report shall be prepared by the Internal Quality Assurance Committee and shall be placed before the Board of Management for its approval and follow-up actions and for the necessary quality enhancement measures. The university shall regularly submit the Annual Quality Assurance Report to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council or other accreditation bodies.

(4) The Internal Quality Assurance Committee shall closely work with State level Quality Assurance bodies, if any.
