Section 95: Power of Government to give directions to Board.

The Maharashtra Maritime Board Act, 1996.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 15 of 1997

(1) Without prejudice to the foregoing provisions of this Chapter, the Board shall, in the discharge of its functions under this Act, be bound by such direction on question of policy, as the Government may give in writing to it from time to time:

Provided that, the Board shall be given opportunity to express its views before any direction is given under this sub-section.

(2) The decision of the Government whether a question is one of policy or not shall be final.
