Section 12: Extinction of khot’s right of reversion.

From the date on which this Act comes into force a khot shall not be entitled to acquire any right in any khoti land or khoti nisbat land by right of reversion.

Explanation.- For the purposes of this section, the right of reversion shall mean a right by which a khot was entitled to acquire lands held by an occupancy tenant under section 10 of the Khoti Settlement Act, 1880 (Bom. I of 1880), as applied to the merged territories of Janjira and Bhor before merger.
