Section 48: Certain offences to be cognizable.

The Maharashtra Money-Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 8 of 2014

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), offence punishable under,-

(a) sections 39 and 41, for contravening provisions of section 4, and

(b) section 42, for contravening provisions of section 23, and

(c) section 45, for molestation, shall be cognizable.
