Section 47: Application of the provisions of Chapter VIII of Mah. IV of 1975.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Specified Commodities Markets (Regulation of Location) Act, 1983State Act of Maharashtra · Act 42 of 1983

(1) The acquisition of any land by the State Government for the purposes of this Act shall be deemed to be a public purpose.

(2) The provisions of Chapter VIII of [the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974 (Mah. IV of 1975)] shall mutatis mutandis, apply in relation to the acquisition of any land for the purposes of this Act, as they apply in relation to the acquisition of land by the State Government for the purposes of that Act.
