Section 10: Alteration of memorandum and articles to be registered

The Maharashtra Non-trading Corporations ActState Act of Maharashtra · Act 26 of 1959

(1) Every alteration of the memorandum or articles shall as soon as possible after such alteration is made be filed by a corporation with the Registrar and the Registrar shall register the same and shall certify the registration under his hand.

(2) The certificate shall be conclusive evidence that all the requirements of the Act with respect to the alteration have been complied with and thenceforth the memorandum or articles so altered shall be the memorandum or articles of the corporation.

(3) No such alteration shall have any effect until it has been duly registered under sub-section (1).
