An Act to provide for the incorporation, regulation and winding up of non-trading corporations whose objects are confined to the State of Bombay.
WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the incorporation, regulation and winding up of nontrading corporations whose objects are confined to the State of Bombay and for matters incidental thereto; It is hereby enacted in the Tenth Year of the Republic of India as follows :—
CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY
1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called 2 [the Maharashtra Non-trading Corporations Act].
(2) It extends to the whole of the 3 [State of Maharashtra.]
(3) It shall come into force on such date 4 as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
