Notwithstanding anything contained in any law, usage, settlement, grant, sanad or order but subject to the provisions of this Act, a sum equal to seven times [the amount of share in the revenues of a village or any portion thereof or land referred to in section 2(1) (e) (i), or as the case may be], the amount of cash allowance referred to in section 2(1) (e) (ii), if any, due to an inamdar as personal inam shall be paid to him as compensation in consideration of the extinguishment of his right to receive [such share or allowance].
