Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement.

The Maharashtra Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act.State Act of Maharashtra · Act 62 of 1947

(1) This Act may be called [the Maharashtra Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act].

[(2) It extends to the whole of the [State of Maharashtra]].

(3) It shall come into force in such areas and on such date as the [State] Government may by notification in the Official Gazette direct.
