Section 1: Short title, extent, and commencement.

The Maharashtra Private Forests (Acquisition) Act, 1975State Act of Maharashtra · Act 29 of 1975

(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Private Forests (Acquisition) Act, 1975.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
