NOTIFICATION Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.
No. MRT-2025/C.R. 38/J-1A.—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of section 311 read with section 325 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (Mah. XLI of 1966) and rules 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Tribunal) Rules, 2007, vide Government Notification No. MRT-2023/C.R.09/J-1A, dated 8th May, 2023 Government of Maharashtra Shri Subarav Balaram Patil appointed as President of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Tribunal, Headquarters at Brihan Mumbai for a period of three years from the 8th May, 2023 to 7th May, 2026 or till he attains the age of seventy years, whichever is earlier ;
And Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 325 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (Mah. XLI of 1966) and of all powers enabling it in that behalf, and in supersession of the Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Tribunal) Rules, 2007, the Government of Maharashtra vide notification No. MRT-2024/C.R.111/J-1A, dated the 4th February, 2025 made Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Tribunal) Rules, 2025 ;
And Whereas, as per sub-rule (4) of rule 4 of Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Tribunal) Rules, 2025, the person appointed as the President or member shall not hold the office as the President or member, after attaining the age of sixty five years ;
And Whereas, Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to terminate the appointment of President Shri Subarav Balaram Patil as he attained the age of sixty five years; and to appoint Shri Pradeep Kishorilal Sharma as the President of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Tribunal, Headquarters at Brihan Mumbai.
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 311 read with section 325 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (Mah. XLI of 1966) and rules 3, 4 and 5 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Tribunal) Rules, 2025, the Government of Maharashtra hereby terminate the appointment of Shri Subarav Balaram Patil as President of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Tribunal, Headquarters at Brihan Mumbai with effect from 22nd May, 2025 and appoints Shri Pradeep Kishorilal Sharma as the President of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Tribunal, Headquarters at Brihan Mumbai for a period of three years from the date 23rd May, 2025 or till he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.
The said appointment is being made subject to the Original Application No. 230/2025 filed before the Hon’ble Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Bench at Aurangabad.

NOTIFICATION Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.
No.MRT-2025/C.R.38/J-1A.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 311 read with section 325 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (Mah. XLI of 1966) and rules 3, 4 and 5 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue (Revenue Tribunal) Rules, 2025, the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints Shri Krishnagopal Shriniwasji Totla as a member (Judicial) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Tribunal, Bench at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for a period of three years from the 23rd May, 2025 or till he attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.
The said appointment is being made subject to the Original Application No. 230/2025 filed before the Hon’ble Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Bench at Aurangabad.
