Section 12: Method of awarding compensation to the representation watandar.

(1) A representative watandar entitled to compensation under section 11 shall, within the prescribed period and in the prescribed form, apply to the Collector for determining the compensation amount payable to him under that section.

(2) On receipt of an application under sub-section (1), the Collector shall, after holding an inquiry in the manner laid down in the relevant Code for the holding of a formal inquiry make an award determining the amount of compensation payable to the applicant.
